📧 ZEROBOUNCE’S 2024 EMAIL REPORT IS HERE

The 2024 Email Statistics Report from ZeroBounce recently dropped.

It's filled with data—raw, unfiltered, and incredibly useful for anyone who cares about email marketing.

And the ZeroBounce team didn't just pull these numbers out of thin air.

They did their homework.

They surveyed hundreds of consumers, analyzed patterns, dissected trends—all to get a clear picture of what's going on in the world of emails.

And why should you care?

Because this report is more than just numbers and stats.

It's a roadmap.

A guide that'll show you what your audience wants, what they couldn't care less about, and what makes them hit that dreaded 'spam' button.

💡 SO, WHAT EXACTLY DO YOUR EMAIL SUBSCRIBERS CRAVE?

Let’s get into it. According to the report’s findings:

47% of your subscribers are pretty clear about what they want.

They yearn for a history of relevant emails.

Yes, it's that simple.

And that complicated.

You need to get to know your audience.

Really know them.

Understand what makes them tick.

What interests them.

What they need.

Then, you craft your emails.

Tailor-made to slot seamlessly into their lives.

But that's not all.

40% of these folks are on the lookout for brand discounts when they sift through their inbox.

And a whopping 66% of them prefer their email communications short and sweet.

Why?

Simple. They don't have time. They're busy.

They want to know what's in it for them, and they want to know it fast.

So keep it short. Keep it relevant.

Finally, let’s talk about the big, bad wolf—spam.

78% of people will report your email as spam if it looks like spam.

Sounds obvious, right?

But many marketers still fall into this trap.

Sloppy design. Grammatical errors. Sending emails without permission.

All of these are fast tracks to the dreaded spam folder.

Don't be that marketer.

Understand what your audience wants. Give it to them. And watch your engagement soar.

💡 EMAIL MARKETING TIP OF THE WEEK

👉  Do you need product-specific flows?

Fact: Brands are losing not just thousands, but hundreds of thousands, just because they turn a blind eye to a crucial strategy: product specific flows.

These brands are suffering because they fail to understand the profound impact a well-crafted product specific flow can have on their revenue.

Now, ask yourself:

• Does 70% of your revenue come from 5-6 products?

• Do your products require a lot of explanation?

• Do you have a team that can implement the strategy?

If you're nodding in agreement, then yes—you need this.

It's a proven, effective strategy that your brand absolutely needs if it checks the boxes above.

✍️ COPYWRITING TIP OF THE WEEK

👉  Write like a human, not like a thesaurus.

Think about it.

You're not writing to impress English professors.

You're writing to connect, persuade, and sell to everyday people.

So ditch those verbose expressions, and start using plain, everyday language.

See how it transforms your writing and makes your message cut through the noise.

P.S. - I’m a better marketer than I am writer, so cut me some slack and provide as much feedback as you can. We’ll work through this together.
