The UGC Test You Haven't Run Yet (It Drops CPA 19%)

Brand handle vs. creator handle. Same creative, different delivery cost.

Are you spending over $50,000+ / month on Meta or Google every month but not getting the results you need or hoped for? Nord Media is taking a select few brands to help them scale and hit their goals for Q2. If you’re looking to increase your growth profitably, let’s chat.

No long-term contracts, we earn our place with your brand every month.

You've optimized the creative. The hook is dialed in. The format works. The UGC performs.

Many operators running UGC at scale are distributing it from their brand handle. It looks identical in the feed to what a Partnership Ad would produce. The difference is invisible to the reader but visible to Meta's delivery algorithm.

Brand handle ads draw from one signal source. Partnership Ads draw from two - the creator's account and the brand's account simultaneously.

Partnership Ads aren’t just an influencer relationship tactic - they’re delivery efficiency lever.

If you haven't compared UGC on brand handle vs. creator handle yet, you may be able to drop CPA.Here’s how to check where your UGC ads are running from.

Everyone has a confirmation page, but few are making any money from it.

You just spent real money getting that customer to convert, so trust is at its peak. So why would you show them a receipt and send them away?

It’s a valuable time to capture a customer at peak trust…

And you can do that with Aftersell's Rokt Thanks.

It places matched offers from a curated network of 500+ premium brands — Disney+, HelloFresh, Venmo — directly on your confirmation page. Machine learning handles the matching. You do nothing.

> You earn up to $0.50 in incremental profit every time your customers click 'Yes'".> It’s passive, without having to set up each advertiser. No integrations to build, no brands to negotiate with.

At around 5,000 orders/month, that's roughly $21,000/year from a page previously earning $0.

Right now, activating Rokt Thanks also gets you the full Aftersell toolkit free: 1-click post-purchase upsells, A/B testing, and Smart Funnel AI that picks your best offers automatically.

Run your numbers first. The forecast calculator shows your exact upside before you commit to anything.

The Algorithm Treats Them Differently

When a brand handle runs an ad, Meta uses the brand account's conversion history and audience signals to determine who to show it to and at what cost.

When a Partnership Ad runs from a creator's handle, Meta reads signals from both accounts simultaneously. The creator's engagement history and audience composition become part of the delivery input alongside the brand's conversion data. This leads to more precise delivery and lower CPM and CPA.

There's a second advantage: Partnership Ads carry any organic engagement from the creator's original post directly into the ad unit. A creator post with 400 likes and 80 comments before it was boosted arrives in the paid feed with that social proof already attached. Brand-handle ads start at zero every time.

At scale, running the same creative through multiple creator handles builds social proof across assets in a way brand-handle distribution can't replicate.

The efficiency difference shows up in Meta's own numbers: Partnership Ads deliver 19% lower CPA and 13% higher CTR compared to standard brand ads.

The Check to Run Today

Open your active ad library in Ads Manager. Find your best-performing UGC or creator-style ads. Look at the handle in the top left of each ad.

If it only shows your brand handle, you have a distribution test you haven't run yet.

As of December 2025, Meta's Partnership Ads Hub in Ads Manager now automatically surfaces content from creators who have tagged or mentioned your brand, affiliate content, and UGC - all in one place, with performance data alongside each asset.

The Setup Takes 10 Minutes

Partnership Ads used to require a formal influencer relationship, Business Manager linking, and extended setup time. The December 2025 update changed this.

Now, a creator can share a Partnership Ad Code from any existing post. You enter that code in Ads Manager and the ad runs from the creator's handle with your targeting and budget.

It’s a 10-minute setup per asset.

With a single code, you can activate content from existing UGC creators, customers who posted organically, or affiliates who tagged the brand.

What to Test

Take your current best-performing UGC ad running from your brand handle.

Get a Partnership Ad Code from the creator for that same asset.

Run the same targeting and budget against both versions for one week.

Compare CPM, CTR, and CPA between the two distribution methods.

Across the accounts I manage, this test consistently shows the same pattern: the handle it runs from affects what it costs to deliver.

Final Thoughts

This distribution difference is easy to miss and can have a big impact on delivery cost.

Pull your active ad library. Check where your UGC is running from.

If it's all brand handles, run the test. The setup takes 10 minutes. It runs for a week.

A 19% CPA reduction makes it worth doing.
